After thorough field investigations and surveying, Route 1 has been determined to be the preferred route. There are several steps yet in this process, and minor revisions to the final route are anticipated.
Property owners along Route 1 were notified that program representatives would be conducting various field investigations and surveying in public right-of-ways.
The Great Water Alliance is committed to using public right-of-way whenever possible and reducing impacts to residential and private property from the construction of the supply pipeline. The same approach is being taken for the return flow pipeline.
